I don’t know the last time I could say the Warriors were over 500 and definitely not this early in the season. They were 0 – 6 before when I went on vacation and I had lost hope with or without Steven Jackson. But he is the catalyst, the fire, the emotion this team needed it seems. This year Jackson seems to be channelling that fire positively rather than gathering the Technical fouls. He takes it out on the court, which is the way great teams should play basketball. In the game against Sacramento the team was hit by the referees on some bad calls and struggled with 3 point shooting all night. They hung in there as they should, whereas in the Utah playoff series they did not and lost a game where Utah began missing shots and they would have had an opportunity in the final minutes of the game. Then the rewards came as Jackson bombed 2 back to back 3’s and the Warriors went on an offensive and defensive run. The Warriors took that game down the stretch and that is without hitting their 3’s throughout the game.What’s amazing this year is not only the offense but the defense. The Warriors held the Rockets last night to a season low of 10 points! Last night the 3’s were hitting and every Warrior starter had double digits! They defeat the Rockets 113 – 94! Watch out for this Warrior team they have come to play and are going all the way!
