New York Knicks Stink and Goodbye Chris Webber

Oh boy, I know the Warriors weren't all that good for about 13 years but I don't think that they were ever as bad the 19-41 New York Knicks. My goodness, the only thing worse is if I was going to the Miami Heat game against the Knicks tonight. They played the New Jersey Nets and I swear there were more Nets fans than Knicks fans at Madison Square Garden. I would have rather watched a street ball game by the park then watch this dismal game. Zach Randolph has the worst hands for a big man that I have ever seen. He either turned it over out of bounds or he turned it over to a fast break. Malik Rose couldn't hit an open shot and no one could hit a free throw to save their lives. The team played sloppily the whole game, bad passes, wipe open 3's for the opponents. No defense no offense. Towards the end they had a chance for a comeback. We cheered for the home team, they dragged their feet. Down 12, they played with very little energy did not seem to care at all about winning. Open jumpers were missed and of course no free throws, no hustle, not a care in the world. You are a NBA player you don't miss open shots and you play hard till the end because you get to play ball for a living. David Lee was a breath of fresh air coming off the bench. Very fundamental. I've never wanted to walk out of a game but I almost did. On the Nets Carter and Jefferson were awesome, but they would be nothing in the West. All I have to say is Go Warriors! Great to be a basketball fan in the West!

A moment of silence for Chris Webber, so much for that move. We'll just have to get it done with our squad! Go Warriors! At least our games were always fun to watch.

Just a Great Week

At times life is simply too hard for no good reason at all, but this week is one of those times where everything simply falls into place. I did want to take a moment to count my blessings.

Alliances Better Than Wars

On the brink of warring with another group, I made a decision to try to mediate and see if we could come to some type of a middle ground. I hate going to war and I have found that others share in this sentiment as well. Alliances are better than wars; they create a win win for both groups and helps everyone sleep better at night. My plan towards the future is to make alliances whenever possible, unless a political individual is just out to get you and then you simply have no choice.

Dreams Do Come True

This was a week where a 12 year long dream left unfulfilled has finally come true. This is proof that there are second chances if you persevere hard and long enough. It is never too late to pursue that dream and no matter what obstacles stand in the way, don’t quit on them no matter how hard it may seem. This is easier said than done, without my Katie I would have given up long ago.

Dreams Can Be Eaten

It is also always a pleasure to be able to help and see a fellow friend get his own dreams up as well. Congrats to Frank and Jenie on opening Dreams Dinners in Newark! If you haven’t checked it out go sign up online at http://www.dreamdinners.com/ and go to a session! Frank when is our dream of winning Men’s Doubles D coming true?

The Joys of Sale

It is always a pleasure to be able to close a real estate deal for your client and get the best terms and deals possible for them. Congrats to two Buyers for closing in the next 2 weeks on a home in this Buyer market! It is also a good week when the Fed drops rates by .75%. I am concerned about inflation but cheap money for banks eventually will mean cheap money for us!

Straight to the Tummy?

Good eating should be a part of every week and boy I have not had so many hand rolls and sushi in my life. That with Happy Buffet, delicious Wombo Combo’s and Maui Zaui’s at Round Table and can you say Inner Mongolian Hot Pot (Xiao Fei Yang). Went to celebrate the week with my Manager and the lamb have never been happier. Thin sliced lamb shoulder in spicy Mongolian pots is the way to go! If you are having a bad day, love lamb and your bad day isn’t money related to do this place in Newark!

Too Busy to Breath

It is always a challenge to multi-task but I seem to find a way to get it done. When you are sitting in training and 2 out of your 3 phones are ringing, buzzing or some other noise making activity, you know you are having quite a day. I wouldn’t trade it for anything else, being busy is a good thing, and we should be working hard when we are young.

Let’s Go Warriors!

It is always a blessing to go to a Warriors game even when they lose to the Houston Rockets. The energy was wild and they caught up nicely in the game. But sloppy passing and turnovers really hurt them in this game. It’s ok, April is the Nuggets, and we are going to be an 8th seed.

Ava!

Extremely excited about Ava who is just a few weeks away, it truly doe not get any sweeter than that.

Dream Dinners Grand Opening!

A big congratulations to Frank and Jenie on a very successful soft grand opening of Dream Dinners in Newark. I had a very fun time building my dinners this evening! This is how it works, you place the order online for session, you go in and build your dinners for the month. It's a great group activity or team builder. You can also elect to have the staff build it for you. Very different and worth a try! Apparently, such a good time the owners graciously elected me to run the demo's because of my projecting voice. So come down Thursday 3/13/2008 at 5PM, I hear the first to come will have a special gift!

Details located here: http://dreamdinners.com/main.php?page=locations&store_id=287&state=California

Come support me and the Chang's on their grand opening!

Another Warriors win Go Warriors! Countdown to attending the Rockets game who are on a 20 game win streak! What goes up must come down. Remember the Patriots?

Goodbye Brett Favre

A very touching speech from Brett Favre. One of the last greatest quarterbacks of all time leaving a game that he obviously loves day in and day out. I admire his humility and his love for the game. Brett we will miss you, I cheered for you this year.

Snippets of Thought

Too busy to write coherent paragraphs here are the Snippets on my mind

- It is great to meet up with old friends and realize that after 5+ years that neither of you have changed and we pick up where we left off. Thanks for reading my blog Johnny! I have more fans than I ever thought!

- I love it when a real estate deal is made! For more http://blog.alanwangrealty.com

- Go Warriors! They finished strong against the Hawks after the last few embarrassmenets! Countdown 3/21 to Rockets game! Brandon Wright is looking solid!

- Niners still need some work. Justin Smith is still a TBD in my mind if he can replace BY on the D line. I think we really need to work on the O line. Issac Bruce is a good pickup and he knows the Martz system, but I don't think he should be our number 1 receiver! We need to beef up this position. I think the Trent Dilfer era is over but adding to Alex Smith's contract for 2 more years will take the pressure off of him, but will it make a difference. I'll give him 1 - 2 more years in the Mike Martz system, if he ain't doing it then we are done. DeShaun Foster is a solid pickup. Every RB needs a backup and 2 running back sets are not uncommon. But will Mike Martz abandon the run, I hope not! JT third string behind Shaun Hill, we'll see if the young man develops!

- Brett Favre retiring, I would have liked to see another year in Favre, but after such a good year, he is right, anything less than a Superbowl win would top this moment. Go out on top. He is the last of the greatest quarterbacks we know from the Montana, Young, Aikman and Marino days.

- Directv DVR's usability and speed is much crappier than my old Tivo box. Tivo is much better, but would I pay for it, probably not.

- Need to write a big review on the Voyager, Iphone and Blackberry. In summary, I use the Voyager for voice calls that aren't that great anyways and the Iphone for everything else.

- Always looking forward to Badminton Wednesdays, looking to work out and battle hard.
